What our Reader's say
Said it so well. I mean failures are important for success. In fact, every success is followed by failures or a series of it. The way you kept moving for 37 Kms without having any practice is highly charging to know. It must have been a real confidence booster experience for you. Would love to read posts more like this.
Thanks for sharing this. I am geared up for running a marathon. These lessons will be handy. One thing I have noticed, initially our body struggles and act as a hurdle. So, I started with setting short targets – 1.5 mile. Now I feel much better as I am gradually able to increase my pace and cover more distance. Thank you for being an inspiration.
I have always appreciated your dedication towards mediation and running. This is a nice initiative. consolidating all your experiences, knowledge, and thoughts. Will surely try and practice at least these 5 asanas. Keep writing! Keep inspiring!
Always thought of giving running a try. Not only for the physical benefits but also for the holistic changes it can bring in a person’s life. Glad to come across such reads that help understanding all the facets and mainly the ones which are mostly missed by beginners. Time to start running has arrived.
What we are looking for is not in that form. The way we are expecting. Life is not like water, the essential things in life do not flow on the least possible route. If we can turn back, we’ll probably never do it back as we started. That’s awesome! Practical and spiritual under one umbrella and narrating it through experiential stories. Reading some blogs removes some doubts.
Beautiful write up very inspiring a must read for runners and non runners will wish to do the same … Do what you love! Keep Running..Keep Inspiring..🙂
This post will definitely encourage me to read this book. I have seen people very close to me suffering from heart problems but now completely recovered by adding running in their workout schedule. I liked the line – “You don’t stop running because you get old, you get old because you stop running.”
Nice blog. Meditation can also mean focussing one thing at a time with undivided attention. If your walking stairs with utmost focus that also is a meditation. The art of avoiding distraction is guided with meditation practices wonderfully explained in this blog.
Never knew that there was so much valuable information hidden behind a perfect shoe. I thought selection of shoe with a good brand only does the job, but I always felt something was lagging. Tons of thanks for publishing such a great article. These tips & information will definitely help me in deciding what would be the best shoe for me. Thanks once again 😊.
Amazing write up for first time runners. Very well explained and constructive plan for 8 weeks for the first 5K run. Keep sharing the good things.
