3. Working principle
Magnetic/Reed Proximity Switch is mainly composed of inductor and trigger. The sensor part is finalized and
packed by connecting the reed through lead wire. The trigger part can be a magnet with corresponding magnetic
field strength encapsulated in a plastic or alloy shell, or an energized coil. The switch uses the physical effect of the
reed in the inductor on the magnetic induction of the magnetic field to control the on-off of the circuit.
